Please be aware that there will be tree trimming done throughout the community on February 17th through the 19th. Use caution when maneuvering around any of the equipment or crews.
Asphalt Repairs & Seal Coat Dates
Barring any weather related delays below is the schedule for the asphalt repairs and sealcoating to be completed this year.
Tuesday, 3/17/26- Asphalt repairs
Tuesday, 7/14/26 - Section 1 Sealcoat & Stripe
Friday, 7/17/26 - Section 2 Sealcoat. & Stripe
Notices will be distributed 1 week prior to work and NO PARKING signs will be posted prior to each closure.

Monthly Board Meetings
To join, please register using the zoom link that is emailed to all homeowners.
The agenda is available on the homeowner portal under documents: Agenda - Posting / 2025.
We encourage you to consider adding the meeting link to your calendar. Once you do, you will receive automatic updates should a meeting require rescheduling due to holidays as this one did. Because these meetings are for members only, it’s important we be able to identify you. Please make sure your name is displayed whether you join by video or voice. Anonymous and/or unknown attendees will not be approved to enter the meeting.

Balcony Project Updates
Winter Weather Preventative Maintenance
The Surfside 1 maintenance team would like to remind all residents to take the following steps to prepare for winter weather:
Clean out 2nd & 3rd floor balcony deck drains / gutters.
Clean out dryer vents (more information here).
Clean window & slider tracks, make sure weep holes are clear & drain properly.
Inspect caulking surrounding your windows and sliders for signs of cracking or failure.
If you do see degradation, two steps will help prevent issues:
Remove any failing caulk.
Replace removed caulk with Sika Flex 295 Marine Grade sealant (white please).
This product is recommended due to location and exposure to sand and sea.
It is available for purchase at home improvement stores.
Taking these steps now will help prevent leaks in your unit and neighboring units.
